Wrote the chapter for Kuworsys, featured here. Also wrote the chapter for Somnalu. Created the concepts for the monsters, wrote all the fiction, designed all the mechanics, the quest lines, and associated spells and items.

Wrote the chapter detailing various holidays in Pathfinder's setting. Provided the art notes for all of the art featured in the section, which required extensive research into different styles of clothing and costumes.

Interstellar Species is a deep dive on the many different player options available in Starfinder. Contributed fiction and designed rules for the Hadrogaan species.

LOST OMENS: THE GRAND BAZAAR

 The Grand Bazaar is Absalom's greatest marketplace featuring items from all over Golarion. Contributed one section each of fiction writing and rules design.

UNWINNABLE: EXPLOITS 38

Wrote a literary analysis of Disco Elysium's themes of revolution, despair, and breaking towards new futures. The piece was included in Unwinnable's monthly Exploits publication, a zine that collects writing about art and culture.

DESCENT

Descent is a roleplaying game in which two heroes undertake a journey to the land of the dead. Each step of the way, they’ll face challenges and trials that test their trust in each other, reopen old wounds, and drag them ever deeper into the abyss.

LOST BEFORE TRANSMISSION

Lost Before Transmission is a game about the messages and distance between two people isolated across space, and the two worlds that they’re assigned to observe. It is a two-player letter-writing and map-drawing game that can be played in-person or asynchronously over the Internet.

LOST OMENS: LEGENDS

Lost Omens: Legends is a supplementary book for Pathfinder, the second largest tabletop role-playing game in the US. Legends details the histories and schemes of Pathfinder's greatest heroes and villains, providing players with guidance for roleplaying. Aaron Lascano contributed a section to this book, detailing the life of a major character and providing players with new narrative hooks.

OF SLEEP AND TREASON

Of Sleep and Treason follows a group of revolutionaries as they attempt to overthrow a stifling, uncaring foreign oppressor. It consists of a montage paired with a monologue, a newspaper broadside, a recording of a revolutionary's speech, and a piece of interactive fiction. It was informed by Puerto Rico's contentious history and relationship with the United States, and drew upon the creator's experiences and heritage.

NO LANDS BEYOND

An essay written for Deorbital, a quarterly collection of critical game writing, that examines the author's experience of a game from his childhood alongside contemporary struggles with burnout and labor.

FIRE EMBLEM'S 12-YEAR REVOLUTIONARY PROJECT

A piece written for Haywire Magazine, a webzine focused on games criticism. The piece unpacks how the Fire Emblem series has long focused on marginalized characters and revolutionary politics, and has offered explanations for why certain revolutions can fail. These ideas fully come into their own with the development of Claude, one of the protagonists of Fire Emblem: Three Kingdoms.
