Paizo — Freelance Contributor, 2019-current
Contributed writing and game design to seven Pathfinder and Starfinder books, including Lost Omens: The Grand Bazaar, Lost Omens: Monsters of Myth, Lost Omens: Travel Guide, Lost Omens: Firebrands, and more. Designed two of the legendary monsters and questlines for Lost Omens: Legends, writing fiction inspired by epic poetry. Created cultural festivals and wrote in-fiction history for Lost Omens: Travel Guide and Lost Omens: Firebrands.

Barnes & Noble — Senior Bookseller, 2021-current
Worked as a supervisory bookseller at Barnes & Noble. Curated sections and ordered titles for various departments, with a special focus on history as well as toys & games. Supported the events department by running events and performing data analysis on social media engagement. Created a newsletter that gained over 10,000 subscribers, produced annual reports on customer purchasing habits, and produced an in=depth analysis and strategy recommendation for the store's Instagram page.

Worked as the lead teacher in 21 English classes per week at Hiroo Gakuen International School in Tokyo. Reorganized curriculum to increase student participation and self-expression. Instructed department and students on how to use Zoom during pandemic-related school closures.​

Descent: Journey to the Underworld — Designer, 2019
Created a tabletop roleplaying game in which two heroes undertake a journey to the land of the dead. In it, players take turns challenging each other to fulfill their duties to the world and each other by utilizing a dynamic original system consisting of scene prompts, scene responses, and reflection questions.

Haywire Magazine — Contributing Writer, 2020
Wrote an essay on revolutionary politics in the Fire Emblem series for Haywire Magazine, a webzine focused on critical games writing.

Lost Before Transmission — Designer, 2019
Created a letter-writing and map-drawing game about two people isolated across space, and the two worlds that they’re assigned to observe. In it, players determine the best path forward for a collapsing civilization.

Deorbital — Contributing Writer, 2019
Wrote an essay that examined the parallels between play and labor for Deorbital, a quarterly focused on critical games writing. The essay was featured in Crit Distance’s weekly archive of excellent games writing.
